LEGALIZATION
What is does it mean?
Your school/college certificates must undergo the legalization procedure in Malaysia before they can be recognized/used in Russia. The legalization confirmation must be affixed to the original documents.
Procedure:

An original document must be certified at the Consular division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by means of putting a special chop and signed by an authorized employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After it the certified original document must be submitted to the Russian Consulate for finalizing the legalization procedure also by means of putting a special chop signed by an authorized employee of the Russian Consulate.

NB: It is recommended to avoid laminating of your original certificates, in this case you will not face with chops putting problems on the original ones.
